What age do children have to be to ride on their own horse?

Ages 6 and up.

Can we double ride on the horses?

Only ages 5 and under and both riders have to be able to fit into the saddle. Weight cannot exceed 250 lbs. total.

Is there a weight limit?

250 lbs.

How far in advance do we need to make reservations?

It is best to make them ASAP. In our summer months, we can only ride during the cooler portions of the day, number of rides per day may be limited.

Will I be riding in a large group?

Groups will be no larger than 4-6 horses.

Is the ride on the beach the whole time?

Yes, with the exception of the first 5-10 minutes for instruction, mounting and path travel to beach.

Can we run?

No, our county guidelines prohibit running. However, we do offer trail riding for the more advanced riders.

What do we wear?

Dress comfortable for beach rides. Remember its hot and sunny on the beach. Pants and closed toed shoes are required for advanced trail rides.
