Broke-A-Toe provided a great experience for my girfriend and I! Kelly and her daughter Hayley made our trip worth while! They are with you every step of the way and make you feel like you are a part of their family! The horses were perfect and calm and gave you a smooth ride on the beach with a beautiful scenary! We Will Definitely be going back soon!

My four kids and I, ages 4 to 12, came for a first-time horseback ride on the beach while visiting St. George Island. My kids don’t have experience riding and they were able to ride with ease! Our guides took good care of us and provided us with an experience we will remember forever! I will definitely come back next time we visit the island! Thank you for a great ride!

My husband and I and our two friends went horseback riding on the beach for an adventurous double date night. It was AWESOME. The wonderful experience started when I called to make the reservation and talked to Kelly about my plan. She was very pleasant to talk to and helped me plan the perfect night.
We rode just before sunset, added on the picture package and the beach bonfire package. When we arrived we were greeted by Kelly and her daughter Haley and felt very welcomed and comfortable. Kelly took us out to the sand dunes and snapped a few photos of us. When we started to ride Haley took more candid shots and helped pose our horses for some more really cute photos. The ride was the perfect length (1 hr.). When we got back to the park, Haley helped us get off our horses and showed us to our fire, which we started when we were ready. Kelly stayed behind while the four of us rode to set up the bonfire and set out our blankets and we also brought wine and cheeses to enjoy, she set that up beautifully too.
The ride and bonfire was perfect! We had so much fun sitting on the beach watching the sunset and enjoying our appetizer talking about the ride. I really would not have changed a thing! Thank you so much Kelly and Haley for everything! Since we are somewhat local I will be recommending Broke a Toe to all of my friends that live here and also those who visit. You guys ROCK!
This mother/daughter team did an excellent job guiding my family and a mother/daughter on a late afternoon beach ride. The ride was wonderful and the horses were great! I will return and highly recommend!
Kelly, thank you for an unforgettable sunset ride on the beach! You were so good with my four year old who was, at first, very scared of the horses. Ruby was the perfect horse for him and his big brother to ride together. She even rocked him to sleep, lol! They both want to ride again, but on their own horses next time! It was great chatting with you during our ride. We tried your restaurant recommendations and loved both of them! We had a great time and can’t wait to come back!
We had a wonderful time surprising our 4 children with a sunset walk on the beach. The owners were kind, caring and professional. They took the time to pair the right horse with each of us, including finding the right fit for our two 6 year olds. We felt safe at all times and it was a beautiful walk.
The reviewer who complained about “just walking” must have unrealistic expectations of this type of experience in a public place with others around. It was an enjoyable leisurely walk, and enjoyed by all of our family.
We also chose to do the photo package which was nice b/c they take pictures before hand without the horses and then also pictures along the ride. We left with all of our children asking to take horse riding lessons! Thanks so much Broke A Toe, we’ll be back!
What a GREAT experience that all five of our children enjoyed. The workers were incredible with them and the walk on the beach was so nice.
This was a beach trek obviously on horseback for a little over an hour. Very laid back and just before sunset which made it even more special. Horses are very gentle and they have one for all ages, shapes and sizes. The guides were great!!! They walked beside us educating us on the horses and the surrounding area. Very east to talk to as well. You can tell they loved what they do.
There are not a lot of places you can ride a horse on a beach in Florida so this was a treat. The staff was awesome and the ride was very nice on the beach. My kids loved it, even the little one who was a little skittish about riding a horse.
Not only was this a dream come true for me, but it was my boys 1st time riding a horse alone with no guide & they did fantastic, our guide was awesome with them highly recommend doing this here plus the beach you ride on is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Loved every minute of it!!! Now my boys share my horse obsession lol

The ladies leading our sunset beach stroll were very knowledgeable, friendly, and obviously loved their horses. It was a lovely way to view the beach, and my horse, Ruby, was lovely.
My husband and I rode on the beach in celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary. We rode the sunset ride with the picture package which we should receive soon. Loved our horses, Grace and Bailey, as well as our wonderful guides!! If you are thinking about doing this just do it!! You won’t regret it!!

My family has served with Blue Skies for the last several years. I was looking at my pictures today and ran across a picture of a guest family from October 2013 riding horses on the beach. My heart was filled with gratitude that this particular family got to have this wonderful experience as a family, little did we know that they would loose their child that December. I will be forever grateful that Kelly works with Blue Skies to give our families a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you for all you do!
This was so much fun! Kelly was a wonderfully educated guide and worked great with my 5 yr old. The horses were very calm and knew exactly what to do. We had a blast and would do it again!
These horses are tame as tame comes. For riding horses they are as well taken cared of as they can be. I was happy to see they did not have bits in their mouths. Thumbs up for many of the horses being rescues because this is a better life than what their alternative could be.
This is the most amazing experience of my life! This was my first time on a horse and I was terrified. Hayley Smith you are the sweetest person and thank you so much for making me feel so comfortable! You are so great with your horses and it’s so awesome to see them loved and cared for so much!

Hats off to Broke a toe for providing a great experience. Riding on the beach was every thing we thought it would be. Broke a toe provided well mannered and well trained horses that may this experience a very pleasurable. Owning our own horses (just not near a beach) We know what kind of expense and hard work goes in to caring for and transporting horse, and with that in mind the price was a real value.
Thank you for a great experience. Hope to ride with y’all again some day.
